The City of Lafayette operates a recycle program which consist of unmanned recycle dumpsters. 

Items Accepted

The main recycle dumpster is for cardboard and paper.  Two green dumpsters are provided for plastic and glass.  The compartments are marked as to what will need to be placed within. Please assist us with keeping the area around the dumpster clean by not placing any items on the ground.

Cardboard must be broken down so more can be placed within the container.

No household garbage is permitted.

Location

The recycling area is located on Napier Street across from the Walker County jail facilities.

The dumpster will be available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

This service is for city of Lafayette residents only.

The premises will be under constant video surveillance.
